Are you insured?

Yes, I have full Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance. Copies of my insurance certificates are available if required.

What is your booking fee, and when would the balance be due?

My booking fee is 20%, and the balance will be due 30 days before your wedding date. Please note that the booking fee is non-refundable.

Do you carry back up equipment on the day?

Absolutely! I ensure I am covered for every eventuality. I carry 2 cameras at all times during the day, and have a third in the bag – just in case of camera failure. I also carry back up lenses and multiple spare memory cards.

Do you charge for travel?

If your wedding is within a 2 hours drive of my home in Northamptonshire, I do not charge extra for travel. If it is further than this, I will quote for travel expenses at the time of booking.

How long will we need for our couple and group photographs?

I recommend allowing 30 minutes for your couple photographs, and I always suggest a 2nd 15 minute couple shoot, during “golden hour” (that’s right before sunset, when the light is at its most beautiful) to enable us to capture some more gorgeous portraits.

What time will you arrive on the day?

I will arrive whenever you need me to! Around 6 weeks ahead of your Wedding Day, you will complete a Wedding Day Questionnaire, which will give me all the information about your running order. Once we’re clear on what this looks like, we can agree on an appropriate time for me to arrive to make sure I can capture everything I need to!

How do we book you?

Fantastic, you’d like to book! Once I have confirmed that I have your date available, I’ll send you a contract which you’ll sign electronically, and an invoice for your 20% booking fee. Once I have the signed contact and booking fee paid, the date is yours!

Do we need a 2nd Photographer?

The benefit of opting for a 2nd Shooter, is that it will allow a greater variety of shots to be captured including the Groom’s preparations, more candid guest shots, more of those little details and precious moments, and additional angles at key points of the day (particularly useful during the ceremony and for group shots) I highly recommend opting for a 2nd shooter if you have a large wedding with 80+ guests. The additional investment is money well spent for the variety of shots that you will get. All of the 2nd shooters I work with are close friends of mine and talented professional photographers so you can be assured of a high quality service and a great result.

Can we print and share our photos?

Yes of course, I’d love you to print and share your wedding photos! All I ask is that they are not digitally altered. Each image has been hand edited in my own style which if you’ve decided to book me, I know you’ll love. 

Do you visit the venue before our wedding?

If it’s a new venue for me, then if time allows I do like to visit new venues (please note this is not always possible). If you are having a Pre-Wedding Shoot, often it’s a good idea to hold the shoot near to your venue, so that we can visit the venue together.

What happens if you’re ill on our wedding day?

Thankfully this has never happened! If this does happen, I belong to multiple networks of Professional Wedding Photographers, and have no doubt that I’d be able to find someone to cover your day. Where possible, I’d still edit your images, so that you would still retain a lot of my style in your final collection.

How much editing do you do?

My signature style is timeless, natural and elegant.  I try not to make my images look overly processed, and keep the colours as true to life as possible. I use flattering natural light, subtle airbrushing and a few tweaks to make sure you’ll look amazing in your photos.
