Rachel & Laurence | Syrencot, Wiltshire

“Thank you so much for everything, you went above and beyond and we truly cannot thank you enough! You are truly amazing at what you do, and such a lovely person, we can’t thank you enough”

Rachel & Laurence chose a beautiful day in July to get married at their gorgeous venue Syrencot, a beautiful Wiltshire Wedding Venue. The sun shone for them all day and yet it wasn’t too hot – just a beautifully warm summers day – perfect! Rachel is a Wedding Make-Up Artist herself, so very used to busy wedding mornings but this time she was the Bride and was able to focus on just herself and she did an incredible job, her make-up looked absolutely stunning. Rachel’s beautiful wedding dress was by Sophia Tolli and she looked an absolute dream. The bridesmaids wore blush pink and the groomsmen wore light grey tweed suits, the overall colour pallet of the day was super pretty, set off perfectly by Hibiscus & Hodge’s perfect flowers featuring pink roses and sage green eucalyptus. The result? One of the prettiest weddings I’ve had the privilege to photograph!

The couple got married in the beautiful Glasshouse at Syrencot, which floods with natural light and is the perfect backdrop to a wedding ceremony at any time of year. The walk from Syrencot House to the Glasshouse gives all Syrencot brides an incredible entrance, with guests waiting in anticipation as the Bridesmaids and Bride make their way through the gardens and up the path. You could almost hear the intake of breath as the guests saw Rachel for the first time, and her Dad looked so proud as he walked his daughter up the aisle which is a moment that always has me welling up!

After the wedding ceremony, drinks and canapes were served in the beautiful Syrencot gardens, and we started some family group shots against the unique “wavy walls” with some especially lovely shots of Rachel with her Grandmother which are some of my favourite. We then had some fun at the front of Syrencot House with the whole Bridal Party, who were really up for photos which is always lovely for us Wedding Photographers! After that we captured some lovely portraits of just Rachel & Laurence as their guests were being seated for dinner. We actually managed to sneak out again for some more couple portraits in the early evening for some beautiful Golden Hour light, which is something I always love to do for my couples and luckily this pair were more than up for it!

A wonderful Wedding Breakfast and some lovely speeches followed, and the couple and their friends then danced the night away to their fantastic DJ and his seriously cool Ibiza style tunes! All in all a very stylish and super pretty wedding day for this lovely pair. Enjoy!
